TGIF

It's been a while since my last post but I've been busy...inventorying all my crochet hooks, knitting needles and yarn!!! Whew, what a job but I am just about done! I was able to destash and give away some stuff so I feel much lighter!!!

I vow not to buy anymore yarn until I've used a good portion of what is on hand (yeah right!), no seriously! LOL!

Hmm, DH and I took some time off this week and really just puttered around in the garden, a little shopping and mucho R & R!!! Spent loads of time at Crochetville (such fun), ebay (bad, bad, evil ebay - LOL)! Bought the Family Circle Crochet mag, 2006 Pattern-A-Day Crochet calendar, Cool Crochet, 200 Blocks to Crochet book and I am very excited to get started on some more projects...

Speaking of which, here are my crochet WIPs:
+ Beach Cover-up
+ Baby Afghan (2)
+ 63 Square Afghan CAL (see button at left)

Knit WIPs:
+ Trellis Shawl
+ Lapghan

Oh yeah, I must take and upload some pictures of my UFOs and FOs to share soon...Ok, I think that is about it for now...make it a fantastic day!

I was finally able to add buttons to my blog AND enable them!!!! Previously, I just had the image w/o the link. Whew! I am feeling pumped! Talk about determination - one of my great-grandma's pearls of wisdom was..."nothing beats a trial but a failure"...nuff said!

Anyway, I've spent so much time trying to get these buttons up that I barely had time to spend on my crochet WIPs!

Well, I haven't much else to say and have to get ready for bed - back to the salt mines tomorrow!

New to This

This is my first ever attempt as 'blogging' - seems everyone has one and I decided to give it a whirl. Nothing tried, nothing gained right?

Anyway, here is where I hope to share my recently discovered creative side...LOL!!! I've been learning to crochet and knit and have actually finished a few projects. Now, I have to take some pictures to share.
